BLACBRIK present Don’t Step on My Shoes, a layered dance-theatre work rooted in pride, perception, and the cultural weight of status. Anchored by a fatal encounter sparked by a seemingly minor gesture, the piece moves through tension, intimacy, and confrontation with a rhythmically charged movement vocabulary.

The trio navigate unspoken codes through a blend of set choreography and structured improvisation, with Shameer Rayes contributing a solo that acts as both rupture and release. The soundscape blends the urgency of Fela Kuti with the emotional textures of SZA and Devonté Hynes.
