BLACBRIK present their emotionally charged duet Death of the Bachelors, a contemporary funk-theatre work rooted in rhythm, code, and connection. Set to the soul-drenched tracks of James Brown and Sam Cooke, the piece explores pride, tension, and tenderness between two men navigating identity and space.
The movement language draws from McLean and Drooh’s diverse vocabularies, blending contemporary dance with Black social grooves, footwork, and gestural storytelling.
